I'm not sure why your milkpaint is turning out too runny...perhaps you should use B Soda, like I did instead of Borax....also the pigment I used was tempera paint powder, which seemed to give the paint a nice colour! I hope this helps and wish you the best of luck!! xxxJune<br />june olsenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00955146070639145582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5334983011637438110.post-57204605034976503222014-10-20T14:28:59.815-07:002014-10-20T14:28:59.815-07:00I was very grateful to find your recipe and see th...I was very grateful to find your recipe and see that it actually worked. I too have done lots and LOTS of research to find a way to make milk paint using powder milk (which I believe is the same thing as dry milk?). Unfortunately, I tried the recipe (with Borax instead of B. Soda bc I read somewhere that you can)and it seems extremely watery and goes on clear ... I was sure I used enough pigment (which is extremely hard to find btw). I tried making it a couple of times to no avail. Not sure what to do. Any pointers?Julie Anoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5334983011637438110.post-84301593880345943132014-05-24T09:31:31.315-07:002014-05-24T09:31:31.315-07:00@kirstencarrie thank you!
